Lately I been absolutely positively obsessed with "barn houses". My family is from Wisconsin, my dad grew up on a farm, my mom spent her childhood summers on her grandparent's farm, and our family farm recently celebrated 100 years! In other words, farms and barns have always had a soft spot in my heart.
Not that I thought I EVER EVER EVER wanted to live in one myself! I would always have called myself a city (errr, suburb girl!) through and through. But my husband grew up in the country on a ton of land and in the 10-years we've been together has been planting seeds in my brain about having land to raise our kids, building our dream house, growing an insane vegetable garden, having a workshop. His seeds may be sinking in, but I'll talk more about that another time...
Tangent aside, I just love barn houses! I pretty much stayed up all night last night going through Pinterest researching the best of the best renovated barns used for homes, businesses, and weddings. Today I will share the exteriors and tomorrow I'll share some awesome interiors!
