Back before the days of Pinterest, Instagram, and blogs, I was an avid collector of interior design books. I'm sad to say that nowadays these books pretty much just sit on my shelves, serving as another piece of decor. It is hard to complete with the easy access we have to design and decor via our smart phones! However, every so often, there is nothing I love more than to sit down with a glass of wine while the kids are sleeping and flip through some of these old books.
Anyone else have the entire Pottery Barn design series? Some of the best!
One of my newer favorites is Erin Gates' "Elements of Style".
I also love "An Affair with a House", "Hamptons Havens", and Kelly Hoppen's "Home". Turning through these just never, ever gets old.
